To figure the number of bags of Concrete Mix required to pour a concrete SLAB, use the chart or formula below:
Another way to calculate how many bags are needed for an area is to multiply length x width x depth of the pour, then divide by 8 (for 80-lb. bag) or divide by 6 (for 60-lb. bag) = # of bags needed.
